NDCS Hands Up
The National Deaf Children’s Society created the Hands Up project for members of Girlguiding UK of all ages in order to raise £100,000 for the Listening Bus – and Complete Control built the site in order to facilitate this. It’s packed with ideas for Guides and Guide leaders who want to take part, incorporating video, blogs, leaderboards charting the progress of the campaign, and user generated content in the form of pictures and comments.

The NDCS Hands Up Girl Guides Website won the IMA 2008 Best in Class Award for a charity website, with an overall score of 481, out of total possible 500 points. Here’s what that score means:
